A January 30th, snow and rocks dont mix well

This weekend was a blast. It was the first time we went out-of-bounds of the season and it was fantastic. Even tough we have only received about one and a half foot of snow, the massive snowmaking all around the mountain has spread it everywhere and has given us cover on most rocks and tree stumps. As such we skied the good old "Cabane à sucre" and "Sherbrooke". The powder was up to one foot on both. I bailed on a nice cliff drop, as both my skis cliped rocks and failed to hang on to my feet, so I rolled forward, doing 2-3 flips in the process and standing up after, unharmed.

A January 23rd with snow

Even tough this season's begining has been warm and lacking in snow fall, we have been skiing for a while in Bromont. The cold front that has arrived a couple of weeks back has permitted the creation of more snow. And with last weeks snow storm we are having fun skiing on many runs.
